From the seller

Manley Reference Cardioid Microphone (1994) A 1994 first run Manley Reference Cardioid, built around the legendary American 6072A dual triode tube, the heart of this microphone's sound and the reason the early models are so coveted. These first run units are preferred by many engineers over later production. the 6072A delivers a warmer, smoother top end that's more open and natural, sitting forward in the mix without harshness , especially flattering on vocals. Add to that the classic era hand built California construction with point to point wiring , plus the original style power supply , and you have a vintage mic that only gets harder to find in good working order. Recently fitted with a brand new capsule direct from Manley Labs, the mic performs flawlessly and needs nothing. Serial REFCARDO27, verified with Manley Labs. Fully functional, smoke free studio, sounds fantastic.
