DigiTech Vocalist II Vocal Harmony Processor - 1994

DigiTech Vocalist II 1994 Rackmount Vocal Harmony Processor - Made in USA Condition: Very Good Description: Up for sale is a classic DigiTech Vocalist II rackmount vocal harmony processor from the 1990s. Proudly made in Sandy, Utah, USA, this unit utilizes the legendary pitch-detection and harmony technology developed by IVL Technologies. It remains a highly sought-after tool for vintage pitch-shifting, thick 90s-style vocal harmonies, and unique studio tracking effects when used with musical instruments. I found it to be a unique effect when used in non-vocal applications, such as harmonized guitar or bass lines! Condition & Functionality: Fully tested and 100% functional. The inputs, outputs, XLR connection, audio processing engine, and digital display screen all work perfectly. Cosmetic Condition: The unit shows some typical light cosmetic wear and minor rack rash from studio use, but the front faceplate is very clean. See photos. Please note that the Utility button is currently sticky/sluggish to press. It still fully registers and functions when pressed, but does not click as smoothly as the other buttons. This is a very common quirk with vintage 90s DigiTech gear and can likely be cleared up with standard electronic contact cleaner (DeoxIT). Because the unit is easily operated hands-free via MIDI or a foot controller, it hasn't impacted studio workflow. This is an amazing piece of American-made rack gear for a home studio, a vintage collector, or anyone chasing that distinct, warm DigiTech harmony sound.
