Up for sale is an AKG C 452 EB, A VINTAGE SMALL-DIAPHRAGM CONDENSER (SDC) MICROPHONE. This Microphone was designed primarily for instruments and vocals in recording studios. It is posted for sale to raise funds to help pay medical expenses for a friend, a highly respected Musician, Recording Engineer and Educator who suffered a debilitating stroke around 3 years ago. The stroke left him completely paralyzed on his left side. Recognizing and accepting that he will no longer be able to use his home studio, I have been asked to help liquidate his equipment. ASKING $395.00 or best reasonable offer. Key Features & Specifications • Type: Small-diaphragm capacitor/condenser microphone with interchangeable capsules (most commonly paired with the CK1 cardioid capsule). • Power Requirement: Strictly requires 48V phantom power (unlike the AKG C 451, which operates across a wider voltage range). • Frequency Response: 5 Hz to 30,000 Hz. • Filter: Features a built-in bass roll-off filter switch. • Physical Build: Solid-state analog FET electronics, available in nickel or black finishes, measuring 159 mm long and 18 mm in diameter, with an XLR-3M connector.
