Symetrix SymNet Audio Matrix Express 8x8 Cobra 2015 - Silver

This unit was in working condition when it was replaced with a completely different system. It hasn’t been used in a few years, but it still powers on and is discoverable, so it should still be a fully functional unit. At this price, it is being sold “as is.” The Symetrix SymNet Express 8x8 Cobra is a digital signal processor (DSP) designed for audio routing and networking, featuring 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs. It facilitates high-speed, low-latency audio transmission over Ethernet using CobraNet technology, making it ideal for installed sound systems in venues like churches and convention centers. Audio Networking: It allows for 8 channels of bi-directional CobraNet audio, enabling exchange with other SymNet units, CobraNet-compatible hardware, and third-party devices. Audio Processing: The system supports modular processing tools, including acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), automixing, matrixing, room equalization, and speaker management. Connectivity: The 8x8 includes RJ45 Ethernet ports for CobraNet, RS-232, and RS-485 for control. User Control: It is compatible with Symetrix ARC wall panels, third party control systems, and software based control systems. Form Factor: It is a 1U rack-mount unit with Euroblock connectors for analog I/O, often used for distributed audio systems.
