PAIR of Neumann 31036 b2 master summing modules

Thinking of building a summing box? Look no further! The Neumann SKC 31036 “B2 Master Module / Stereo Group Danner B2 Master Module” is a module used in older modular mixing consoles by Neumann (the mic maker) in the “Danner” cassette / group-frame format. Today’s studio environment have adapted this high end summing modules to build out boutique Neumann summing mixer consolettes. This pair of modules are a master / group module for summing. In a console, group/master modules are used to sum together multiple channels or stereo groups and then provide control (level, maybe routing) before sending the mix onward (to faders, to monitor sends, to the mix bus, or output). It’s not a channel strip with EQ or input gain; rather it’s downstream, combining signals. - Stereo group capability: It handles stereo groups, so at least two channels (left/right) in each group. The “Stereo Group Master” bit means it’s taking groups and likely giving master control over those groups in stereo. - Format: “Danner size cassette” refers to a format of modular boards or inserts inside the larger console framework; these modules slide into slots or frames, making them replaceable/upgradeable If you or your tech have the time to pin these out, these could make for the coolest summing mixer on earth. I just don’t have the time. Check out the 5 channel Neumann line mixer I have for sale in my shop too, all modified and wrapped up and ready for your studio! Thanks for looking
