Product Description
The MOTU M64 is a flexible, high-performance MADI audio interface, router, repeater, splitter, converter, and mixer. Designed for live performance systems, network installations, and recording studios of any size, it delivers a massive 256 channels of simultaneous MADI I/O. It connects to your Mac or PC via ultra-low latency USB, or it can be integrated into larger systems using AVB/TSN Ethernet networking. With its built-in DSP, the M64 operates as a fully capable 48-channel digital mixer with vintage-modeled effects, and can be used completely standalone with wireless control from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop when connected to a Wi-Fi router.
Key Features
Massive MADI I/O: Provides 256 channels of MADI I/O across independent optical (64 channels in/out) and coaxial BNC (64 channels in/out) connections.
Ultimate Routing & Splitting: Functions as a highly flexible router and converter. It includes an extra duplicate BNC output for easily splitting the coax bank to two separate destinations without external hardware.
Built-in DSP Mixing: Features a 48-input digital mixer with 7 stereo aux busses, 3 stereo groups, and 32-bit floating point processing for virtually infinite headroom.
Vintage Effects Processing: Applies classic reverb, gate, 4-band British-modeled analog EQ, and compression accurately modeled after the legendary Teletronix LA-2A optical leveling amplifier.
AVB/TSN Ethernet Expansion: Add more I/O to your rig by connecting another MOTU AVB interface via a simple CAT-5e ethernet cable, or build a massive low-latency network with standard AVB/TSN switches.
Web App Control: On-board DSP, mixing, and device settings are served directly from the hardware to a web browser on your wired computer or wireless device.
