From the seller
There is a scratch on the left side of the front of the interface, but it is cosmetic and the unit works fine. This used M-Audio FireWire 1814 Audio Interface is in good condition, delivering reliable multi-channel I/O for home or project studios. It contains two pre-amps with XLR and 1/4 jack mic/line inputs on the front and 8 unbalanced inputs on the back. Featuring FireWire connectivity, up to 18 inputs and 14 outputs, 24-bit/96 kHz audio support, built-in MIDI I/O, and flexible routing for tracking and mixing, it’s a solid choice for capturing vocals, instruments, and outboard gear with clarity. A practical, great-sounding interface for classic DAW-based workflows.
Please Note: This is an older interface for use with older Windows PC and Mac computers that have a firewire interface. M-Audio no longer offers support for this interface.
This is compatible with both Power PC and Intel based Macs.
The newest version of Windows that has official driver support is Windows 8.1. The newest version of Mac OS X that has driver support is 10.14. This interface may no work properly with newer versions of Windows or OS X/MacOS.As a workaround, you can plug a FireWire device into the Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter, and connect that to your Mac using an Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter.
