From the seller
A vibey 1969 Fender Telecaster in a classic natural finish, outfitted with a Bigsby tremolo, a neck humbucker modification, and an Alembic preamp boost switch for added thickness and output.
This is a true late 60s American Telecaster with real player character, not a case queen. It has honest aging and wear throughout, with the kind of broken in feel you would expect from a guitar that has been around for decades.
The guitar still delivers the unmistakable Tele snap and bite, but the neck humbucker expands the tonal range into thicker, smoother territory. This type of modification was a popular upgrade in the early 1970s, making the instrument more versatile for a wider range of styles.
The Alembic preamp adds a noticeable volume and body boost when engaged, and can really push the amp harder for thicker lead tones. The boost is controlled by the side mounted switch shown in the photos.
The Bigsby adds subtle shimmer and expressive feel that suits this guitar well.
Notably, this guitar was previously owned by the longtime soundman for B.B. King and Millie Jackson, adding a unique piece of music history to an already special instrument.
