For sale is a beautiful and rare RCA BN2A tube mixer/ mic preamp. It is in excellent functional condition and amazing cosmetic condition for its age. This mixer was the direct descendent of the holy grail RCA OP6 and OP7 models. The BN2A is literally the combination of those two models' circuitry into one box. It has all the same transformers tubes and circuit design. The BN2A has 3 preamp inputs into a mono master volume. With the master gain turned all the way up, the BN2A can sound gloriously clean just like a raw OP6. But it has the added benefit of the master volume control that allows for the possibility of cranking Ch.'s 1-3 into valve distortion and then taming the output as needed for the next link in the signal chain. This unit sounds great overall and comes with the original face cover. All electrolytic capacitors have been recently replaced. The oversize cannon jacks on the back were replaced with modern xlr's, but the unit is otherwise unmodded. A newer power cable that hooks up to the original Cinch Jones jack is included.
