From the seller

Selling a Tascam M-06 vintage analog mixer, made in Japan. This is a super interesting unit: cosmetically, it is in amazing condition with only some slight scratches and light dust - it looks incredible. Functionally, it still partially works (which I why I set this to only "good" condition - it definitely needs some service before it is "fully" operational), and although I didn't test any of the RCA inputs / outputs, I did test each of the 6 "Mic" (1/4 inch jack) inputs, the FX send / return, the knobs on all 6 input channels, the headphone and main outputs, and the main bus controls. Here's a breakdown of what works versus what doesn't: - channels 1-3: all work flawlessly. Mic-setting input from Moog Messenger comes through clean, and when the signal is pushed, the mixer adds some beautiful analog saturation distortion. The trim, EQ, panning, and FX knobs all work. - channel 4 works with Mic-setting input from the Moog, but is noticeably quieter than the first 3 channels - the gain can be compensated by pushing the fader higher - channel 5 is very quiet, and cannot be compensated with a higher fader position - channel 6 is silent - I tested the FX send / return input and output with a vintage Korg GR-1 stereo analog reverb (also for sale in my shop) - the FX sound simply amazing on the channels that do work! - main outputs (PGM Out) and both headphone outputs work - The VU meters light up and work - they look awesome In my opinion, this would make an excellent budget mix desk for adding some analog character to an overall mix or stems - I could totally see someone utilizing channels 1 - 3 for some sort of DIY mix or master operation; I would do this myself, except my workflow has changed to almost purely software-based tools, so I simply have no need for most hardware anymore. I'm going to set a slightly higher price than other units on the marketplace, just because I did do some relatively thorough testing (as I was able, couldn't test every single mixer feature) and despite channels 4-6 needing servicing, the unit sounds and looks incredible. I will ship this in a well-packaged box with lots of tape and bubble wrap. Shipping to the continental US only. Let me know if you have any questions!
