Offering a vintage 1940's-50's Electro Voice 950 "Cardax" Dynamic Microphone. This mic has been a reliable P.A. mic for decades and is still sought after by collectors and musicians who dig the old school look and sound. These mics originally employed a crystal pickup, and in most cases, age and humidity took it's toll and rendered then unusable, so a dynamic capsule has been installed in its place providing a much wider response. (You can hear a voice sample on the listing video.) The frontal on-off switch functions as intended, and the pivot joint holds the tilt angle firmly. Physically, this mic does have some very minor wear signs us wear, and has been refinished with Gold tone.
