From the seller

Not something you see everyday, a 1964 Fender Jazz Bass in stunning fiesta red finish. This bass was born as fiesta red and got oversprayied at some point but you can still see the original factory fiesta red underneath the rare mint green pick guard. Neck is straight and action is perfect. A profile neck dated March 64, matching pots dated 50th week of 1963. The Brazilian rosewood fretboard is dark and beautifully worn. Both covers still on the bass. The original black bobbins are pure magic. Heaps of sustain and a smooth tone , thanks to the alder body combined with the maple neck. The original reversed kluson tuners and bridge are in perfectly working condition. The E tuner has the typical stress line on one of the screws, but it doesn't affect the instrument as it looks like has been glued at some point and by the look of it hasn't moved in years , so nothing to worry about as its a very common thing with these early fender basses. you can see that in the one of the pictures. A magnificent and rare instrument, and a phenomenal player. Comes with an old hard case.
