From the seller

Vintage Peavey AMR MCR-4 – 4-Track Multitrack Cassette Recorder Vintage Peavey MCR-4 four-track cassette recorder from the 1980s, manufactured under Peavey's Audio Media Research (AMR) division. Designed for multitrack recording and studio applications, the MCR-4 provides four independent recording tracks with Dolby B/C noise reduction and dedicated recording controls. The MCR-4 is a dedicated 4-input, 4-output multitrack recorder, designed for use with an external mixing console or DAW-based recording system. Unlike integrated cassette multitrack recorders with built-in mixers, the MCR-4 provides four independent recording and playback channels without individual output volume controls or a built-in mixing section. About: Capstan drive belt replaced. Plastic gears cleaned and lubricated. Pots treated with DeoxIT All tracks tested Switchable Dolby B and C noise reduction Variable pitch/speed adjustment Four independent line inputs and outputs Remote footswitch capability Heavy-duty metal construction Recording Applications: Ideal for musicians, recording engineers, and vintage analog recording enthusiasts looking for a dedicated multitrack tape machine. The MCR-4 can be used for recording individual instruments and vocals, analog tape processing, overdubbing, or transferring archival four-track cassette recordings into a modern digital recording environment. Important: This is a standalone multitrack tape recorder, not an all-in-one cassette recording workstation. An external mixer or suitable audio interface is required for independent playback level control and final mixdown. Please review all photographs, as they are part of the description.
