From the seller

These are rare pieces these days. Nearly consecutive serial number pair of Neumann KM88i. One serial number apart! These are one of the greatest mics for acoustic instruments. They use very rich and detailed nickel capsules, the same used on KM56s. This is the FET version of the KM56 mic, which uses a rare and very expensive AC701 tube. The polar patterns responses are very balanced, with impressive constant Cardioid, Omni and figure of eight. Both capsules are original and have the factory nickel. They have never been reskinned. The electronics are in very good shape and recently were serviced and checked by The Mic Shop in Nashville. The bodies clearly have scratches, but are free of dents. Schoeps clips and a waterproof case are included. I can ship worldwide. Local pick up in Nashville available.
