From the seller

Up for sale is a rare vintage Yamaha Model M1516 analog console. I purchased this from a well-respected vintage gear shop a while back, and at that time had been fully checked out by their techs and serviced as needed. I purchased with the intention of using in a new home studio, but circumstances have changed and it has sat in a crate since I bought it - I never even got a chance to use it! The posted photos are theirs, but it is this exact desk. Didn't want to uncrate it just to take pics that aren't as good as these! This will be a great desk for someone looking to add tons of vintage tone to their studio without breaking the bank. As far as I know, it's in good functional shape and has been nicely modded with direct outs, with those "Japaneve" Tamara transformers on every channel. The M1516 was made as the more portable PM-2000, and as such contains the exact same transformers used in that desk, which is unlike the PM-1000 that uses a different variation. Comes with a brand new power supply. I am willing to ship this 150-ish pound beast via LTL Freight at my own expense (which is around $700), and will also entertain a more local pickup and would just knock $700 off the price if you wanted to go that route. Really just looking to get back something close to what I paid for it, and not to weep too much at its departure.
