Adam Audio A7V 130W 7" Active 2-Way Nearfield Studio Monitor (Single) - ( )

Evolutionary Sonic Excellence The A Series A7V from Adam Audio is a two-way speaker that embodies the evolution of Adam Audio's award-winning A7X. Comprised of a 7-inch Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) woofer and handmade precision X-ART tweeter, it offers a wide frequency range of 41 Hz to 42 kHz. The A7V's rotatable HPS waveguide technology and onboard DSP-based tuning allows optimal sound adjustment tailored to your room requirements and sonic preferences. Focused High-Frequency Propagation Adam Audio's HPS (high-frequency propagation system) waveguide technology, along with the German-made X-ART tweeter, ensures controlled sound dispersion that is broad horizontally and focused vertically. This waveguide can be rotated 90 degrees, ensuring excellent performance regardless of speaker positioning. The unique construction material, a glass fiber polymer compound, eliminates unwanted resonance, making A7V a paragon of clear and consistent sound. Innovative Woofer and Amplification The A7V's woofers are created from a unique blend of baked mineral stone fibers, producing high output and low distortion for clean low-end sound. The speaker employs a hybrid of Class D amplifiers for woofers and Class AB amplifiers for the tweeter and midrange drivers. This blend provides efficient power usage, smooth high-frequency reproduction, and fine-tuned speaker alignment. Advanced DSP Capabilities The A Series leverages DSP-based electronics for superior tuning precision and predictability over analog-only speakers. With upgradeable firmware through an Ethernet connection, users can anticipate the integration of future DSP capabilities from Adam Audio, including new filter types and voicing options. Room Adaptation and Customization The A Series offers extensive room adaptation options, including Bass, Desk, Presence, and Treble adjustments to compensate for acoustic issues from speaker placement. Moreover, it provides two distinct sound profiles, "UNR" and "Pure", catering to varied sonic needs. Using the A Control software, custom voicings and advanced filters can be applied, enhancing the speakers' adaptability to imperfect room acoustics and varying preferences. **This B-Stock product has either been returned from a prior customer order or was used as a demo and repackaged.
