A rare NTI Night Pro PRE Q3, 2 channel mic/pre with “Air Band”. Designed by Cliff Maag Sr. Key Features Air Band (Vari-Air) EQ: Features a proprietary high-shelf equalizer with selectable elbow frequencies at 2.5, 5, 10, 20, and 40 kHz, adding breathy openness and top-end sheen without harshness. [1, 2, 3] Jensen Transformers: Built on a transformer-based architecture using premium Jensen transformers that allow engineers to drive the input stage for harmonic saturation. [1, 2] Line-Input Capability: Unlike newer Maag modules, the Nightpro PreQ3 includes line-input switches, allowing you to run external mixes or stems through the unit just to use the Air Band EQ. [1, 2] Per-Channel Controls: Each channel features a mic/line select switch, 48V phantom power, a high-pass filter, a -20dB pad, a phase invert switch, and stepped gain control.
