From the seller

The Universal Audio Volt 1 Gen 2 makes home recording easier without reducing the creative options that matter. Its 2 input, 2 output design lets a singer songwriter record a microphone and guitar at the same time, while 32-bit conversion at sample rates up to 192 kHz captures performances with detailed, low noise sound. The microphone preamp provides 60 dB of gain, making the interface a practical center for vocals, acoustic instruments, podcasts, voice recording, and everyday music production. Choose the Character before Recording The Tone Shaping preamp gives you three simple sound choices instead of a screen full of technical settings. Warmth adds softer transients and tube inspired body. Focus emphasizes punch and clarity for sources such as guitars and bass. Shine adds a more open top end. You can also leave Tone Shaping off for a clean capture. The front instrument input accepts guitar or bass directly, so vocals and an instrument can be recorded on separate channels at the same time. Hear Yourself without Distracting Delay Direct monitoring sends your live input straight to the headphones and monitor outputs, avoiding the delay that can occur when audio travels through recording software first. You can monitor the instrument input, microphone input, or both. For recording with software effects, leave Direct off and monitor through your recording application instead. Built-in loopback also lets podcasters and streamers combine live inputs with computer audio. Volt 1 Gen 2 runs from USB bus power with compatible systems and works with Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone. A separate 5 V USB power input is available when the connected device cannot provide enough power. UAD Console provides additional control, while the included LUNA software and UAD plug ins give new home studios tools for recording, arranging, and mixing from the start.
