From the seller
For sale is an original Pacific Recorders & Engineering RMX / RadioMixer Control Room Monitor module.
This is the dedicated control-room monitoring card used in the PR&E RMX / RadioMixer console.
Functions
According to PR&E’s original RadioMixer literature, the Control Room Monitor module provides monitoring of:
• PGM-1
• PGM-2
• Telephone System bus
• Up to six external monitor sources
The module also provides:
• Control Room monitor level
• Operator headphone level
• Auto-Cue headphone function
• Cue level control
• Talkback level control
• L/R monitor mode selection
• Guest headphone feed
• Remote monitor dim and mute functions
The front panel provides direct access to the monitor source selectors along with dedicated Talkback, Cue, Headphone, Auto Cue, Monitor Mode, and Control Room Monitor controls.
Condition
The card is in generally good physical condition internally, with the PCB and components looking clean and no obvious corrosion, scorching, or cracked board material visible in the photographs.
The front panel shows cosmetic wear from use, including paint/finish wear around the Control Room Monitor knob, along with scratches and scuffs elsewhere on the panel.
One of the front-panel wiper buttons is missing. The other wiper indicators have been checked and function correctly.
The knobs and controls shown in the photographs are present, and the edge-card contacts are intact.
I do not have an RMX console available to power and function-test the module, so it is being sold as untested.
Detailed photographs are included showing the front panel, component side, solder side, edge connectors, and control details.
