Vintage 1954 Shure 55S Dynamic Microphone-original-working great (hear it)

Offering a vintage 1954 Shure 55S Dynamic Microphone. The 55S, "S" meaning small, was Shure's smaller follow-up design to the larger "Fatboy" 55 model, and has been a constant staple in both broadcast and recording studio environments. All of the internals on this one are in great working order, and perform with good output level and fidelity. (Check out the voice sample in the listing video.) The 55S is very desirable for live stage speech and music performances, especially in "throwback" settings. It's always prized for its iconic look and reliable sound, with a distinctive visual style that always adds presents wherever it is used. This one is still in presentable shape, very little signs of age/use...see photos. The blue maker's badge clearly shows the production date of January 1954, and the pivot joint holds the tilt angle firmly in place. Mic has original undamaged Amber screen cloth and has been thoroughly sanitized. This sale includes both a short cable adapter to male XLR plug, plus the basic display disk stand. ** WE BUY YOUR OLD MICROPHONES...INVENTORY UPDATED REGULARLY ** ** Competitive prices, fair shipping, great service!
