sE Electronics sE8 Cardioid Capsule(P) Factory Matched Pair of Cardioid Pattern Capsules for sE8 Mic

sE8 Cardioid Capsule Pair The sE8 Cardioid Capsule is the cardioid version of the capsule made for sE's highly acclaimed sE8 pencil condenser microphone. Built with a sophisticated capsule backplate design and true condenser technology, it delivers an authentic, transparent sound quality that sE describes as second to none. Every pair is hand-crafted in sE's own factory and selected from hundreds of capsules to guarantee the best possible performance. With the lowest noise and highest SPL capability in its class, the sE8 cardioid capsule is built for demanding recording work — from orchestras, ensembles, and choirs to solo instruments, vocals, and percussion. This is great Recommended Use The sE8 Cardioid Capsule is designed for recording applications that call for a natural, open sound capture. It excels at orchestral and ensemble recordings, producing a full, three-dimensional sound image; choral performances, capturing voices with rich detail and precise spatial accuracy; solo instruments and vocals, preserving natural tone and ambient depth; and percussion and cymbals, handling fast transients with outstanding clarity. Design and Craftsmanship At the heart of the capsule is an ultra-thin gold-sputtered diaphragm, engineered for a superior transient response that captures even the smallest musical nuances. Its ultra-precision electrode design is optimized for superb linearity and natural sonics, resulting in a consistently smooth and balanced frequency response. Every capsule is hand-crafted and individually tuned in sE's own factory, with a sophisticated acoustic design and precision components chosen to avoid coloration in even the most demanding recording applications. Stereo Performance Because convincing stereo recordings depend on high consistency and accurate localization between two microphones, sE selects every stereo pair from hundreds of individual capsules to ensure identical performance. This matching process produces the highest possible correlation across the entire frequency range and virtually identical sensitivity between the two capsules — the foundation for stunning, three-dimensional stereo recordings. Why We Love This Our gear experts appreciate the sE8 Cardioid Capsule Pair for its honest, transparent sound that stays true to the source without adding coloration. The hand-crafted, individually tuned capsules capture natural tone and subtle nuance, while the gold-sputtered diaphragm keeps pace with fast transients on percussion and cymbals. Because every pair is factory-matched for consistent sensitivity and correlation, musicians trust it for accurate stereo imaging — whether tracking a full orchestra, a choir, or a solo performance.
