Pair of original Rupert Neve & Co. (Cambridge) modules – plates read TYPE 1279 (originally a combining amp), serials 6428/K and 6431/K. Rebuilt in 2015 by a Swedish Neve restorer to 1272 line-amp spec (Neve B183/AV amplifier card + input and output transformer) and converted to mic preamps, racked in 1U. PER CHANNEL • Gain 0–50 dB, Elma stepped switch (5 dB steps) + output trim • FET DI input (1/4", front) • Switchable 48V (with LED), pad, phase • XLR in / XLR out on small boxes at the module backs (edge connector covered) INSIDE • Original Neve B183/AV amplifier cards – recapped and re-biased; module caps replaced • Input transformers: green cans stamped "T.1447". The builder described them as custom-wound Carnhill-based units made to a spec closer to the original Marinairs – I can't confirm the maker, please judge by the photos. • Output transformers: open-frame • JLM Audio Neve-edge boards – original Amphenol edge connectors untouched POWER • vintagedesign PSUD external supply (Sweden, 2011), 230V, IEC with switch + fuse, 2× XLR outputs CONDITION • Serviced and cleaned 2025-11 by a local Vilnius wizard Rolas. No faults found. • Open-frame rack (no top cover), as pictured. Big, thick class-A Neve sound. Ships from Vilnius, Lithuania (EU – no customs within the EU). Double-boxed, insured.
