Brand new literally days old, this is one of the best mic I’ve ever had. and I’ve had a Telefunken C12 to everything in between. David Feher is an expert vintage mic repair tech in Hungary. he decided that he would come out with his own mic line and this man measures every detail of a vintage mic, from the behavior as well as the frequency response.. From the M49 to a U47 to the Elam251. He makes sure everything is exactly how it should be. this phenomenal NLP49 has a new old stock ac701 tube as well as an incredible Rico M7 capsule. Rico is Thiersch’s son in law. According to David Feher, this mic also has the multi pattern vintage m49 feature. meaning you press a switch on the circuit to get your other patterns that you want. This was put in place on vintage m49’s to give it a lower noise floor. words cannot even describe how great this will come with the mount the the wooden box and the cable. The video that I’m posting is with David’s NLP49 with a Russian tube not the AC 701 and that’s still sounds great but mine sounds even better. it’s more rich and warm. He only had a limited stock of these incredible vintage tubes. This incredible mic comes with a beautiful a nice wooden box and the yolk mount.
