Original Ampex MM1100 1-inch 8-track tape headstack assembly, removed from my personal working Ampex MM1100 tape machine! Professionally Inspected: Los Angeles audio technician Jacob Horowitz personally inspected the machine and head assembly. Based on his visual assessment, he described the heads as exceptionally clean and estimated approximately 80% of their usable life remains! Included: Original tape heads Head mounting block and plate Guides and associated hardware (seen in photos) Attached wiring, as pictured This is the actual head assembly with heads included, not an empty headblock. The heads were recently removed from my own personal working machine just a few weeks ago. The remaining head life estimate is based on visual inspection, not a formal wear measurement or performance certification. A great opportunity for anyone restoring, servicing, or maintaining a vintage Ampex MM1100 1-inch 8-track recorder. Please examine all photographs carefully. Sold as pictured. If you are needing other parts, please let me know!
