LOMO UM51 Tube Conversion Pair w/ 8A11 Large Diaphragm Capsules + PSUs (19A18 Circuit, 19A19-Style Capsule)

A pair of LOMO UM51 microphones converted to tube, with the rare 8A11 large diaphragm capsule and their own power supplies. These came from Soviet American Audio Systems (Russian Recording). I'm only selling to fund a vintage 47. The UM51 was a FET microphone LOMO developed in the late 70s that used a range of interchangeable capsules. The original 12V amps sound great but have limited headroom. On this pair, the internal circuit has been completely replaced with a LOMO 19A18 tube circuit (6AU6-type tube, the Soviet AC701K). The vintage output transformer for each mic lives in its power supply. The result is a balanced, "glowing" tube sound that works on just about any source. The 8A11 is a very rare and sought-after large diaphragm cardioid capsule that closely resembles the famous 19A19 edge-terminated capsule. The two capsules in this pair are only a few serial numbers apart and sound matched.
