From the seller
Condition: Mint* (There is one very light, superficial scratch on the left side panel of the metal chassis from sliding it into the rack.)
Description:
Up for sale is my Elysia Xpressor NEO 19" Rackmount Stereo Compressor. The unit is like-new condition, having been meticulously cared for in a professional, smoke-free studio environment. It has always been racked with protective plastic washers to prevent any rack rash on the beautiful laser-engraved faceplate.
This is the updated "NEO" version of the legendary Xpressor, offering an entirely redesigned circuit that delivers a wider 3D stereo image, improved high-end detail, and incredible depth for both mixbus and mastering duties.
Key Features:
Class-A Topology: The discrete audio path runs in constant class-A mode for a clear, open sound with plenty of punch.
Warm Mode: Functions as a slew rate limiter to alter the frequency spectrum, harmonics, and transient response for a saturated, rounded tone.
Auto Fast Attack: Automatically shortens the attack time on fast, loud transients and then instantly returns to your set value to catch peaks without distortion.
Dual Release Curves: Switch between a standard linear release and a smoother logarithmic release curve that adapts to the amount of gain reduction.
Negative Ratios: The compression curve bends backwards after crossing the threshold for extreme, groovy compression effects.
Gain Reduction Limiter (GRL): Placed in the control circuit rather than the audio path, this restricts the maximum amount of gain reduction to a specific dB value, leaving loud peaks intact once the limit is reached.
External Sidechain: Features dedicated 1/4" Send (EXT 2) and Return (EXT 1) jacks on the rear panel to trigger compression from external sources or for frequency-dependent processing.
Parallel Compression: An onboard Mix knob allows you to blend the dry and compressed signals seamlessly without needing extra routing.
